ABOUT BODYTONIC PILATES
It was such a pleasure designing this brand identity for Bodytonic Pilates. The Seattle-based pilates studio — which has been in operation since 2005 — was looking to elevate their visual identity by rebranding. The goal was to create a design that was urban, body-positive, and feminine. The outcome was a visual identity for Bodytonic Pilates that was timeless and would reinvigorate a new generation of pilates lovers in Seattle's Pioneer Square neighbourhood.
The Bodytonic Pilates brand identity system is versatile with a series of logos and brandmarks. The textured line work of the logo can be used as a signature look throughout marketing assets, which we used in the custom social media icons.
As an added brand element, we developed a tagline to convey the brand's overall mission: inclusive, empowering & strong. The Bodytonic Pilates' founder felt strongly that, as a woman of colour, part of her mission be to help make the fitness industry more diverse and inclusive.
